Season 7 of America's Got Talent has officially begun! I am eagerly anticipating another great season. Hopefully we will see some more unique and creative acts this season (like Silhouettes and Team iLuminate). There will no doubt be some stupid acts that don't really deserve to be on the show, some singers (one of which will probably win the whole thing), some dancers, and whatever else America can come up with.
I must say, however, that I am quite disappointed with the absence of Piers Morgan as a judge. Although he was a bit harsh sometimes, I think he added some much needed bluntness to the show. It's bad enough that the producers allow stupid acts to ever get to the judges in the first place, but Piers seemed to do a pretty good job of filtering them out as best he could. That being said, I think Howard Stern is a good addition. He seems to be looking for a genuine act that will really be successful.
As usual, I will save my comments on the individual acts until Vegas Week or the Quarter-Finals, depending on how it's formatted this season. See you then!
